About Workshop
Zero Knowledge Proof (ZKP), as the core of the ZK-Rollup scaling scheme, has been developed rapidly recently and provides an effective path to solve blockchain scaling problems. The proof protocols represented by Marlin and Plonk continue to achieve breakthroughs in performance and ease-of-use, making ZKP practical and leading to commercialized solutions at the virtual machine level such as zkEVM and zkWASM. Hardware acceleration schemes for ZK proofs and ZKP-friendly cryptographic components have also provided a further boost to the commercialization of ZK-Rollup.
The purpose of this workshop is to invite researchers, practitioners, and entrepreneurs to share the latest advances in the industry, and to discuss the current state of the art, challenges, and open issues in using ZKP in blockchain and Web3 applications.
